Privacy Policy

Summary
RemindVault is built local-first. Your reminders are stored on your device and are not uploaded to a RemindVault account or cloud service. No account is required to use the core app. Two features can involve third parties, and only in limited ways: Smart AI mode and advertising. Both are described below.
Who we are
RemindVault for Android and iOS and the remindvault.app website are developed, published and operated by Axieo Technologies Inc. (“we”, “us” or “our”), a Canadian corporation (axieo.ca). Axieo Technologies Inc. is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Your reminder data
Reminder content — titles, notes, amounts, dates, categories and history — is stored in an on-device database. It is not transmitted to RemindVault, is not part of any online account, and is not sold or shared. The core app, including notifications, works fully offline.
Smart AI mode
Smart AI mode is optional. When it is enabled and you use Quick Add, the single sentence you type is sent to the configured AI provider so it can be parsed into structured reminder fields. No other reminder data is included in that request. You review a confirmation screen before anything is saved. If you prefer, you can use manual entry only, which makes no network requests. Do not enter information into Smart AI mode that you would not want processed by that provider.
Advertising and analytics
If the app includes advertising, Google AdMob may process device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), a consent prompt is shown before any ad loads, and your choice is respected. Any product analytics are limited to event names and counts and are designed to exclude reminder content. Advertising data and your reminder data are handled separately.
Permissions
RemindVault requests notification permission so it can alert you at the scheduled time. It does not request access to your contacts, location, photos (beyond an image you explicitly attach in a later version), call logs, or other apps.
Data retention, export and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you remove it. You can export your complete vault as a JSON or CSV file at any time, and you can delete individual reminders or clear all app data from your device. Uninstalling the app removes its local data.
Children
RemindVault is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Medicine reminders
Medicine reminders are reminders only. RemindVault is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or dose management.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
