Privacy, stated precisely
Your reminders never leave your device.
No account. No cloud sync. No RemindVault login. The core app is fully local — and we are specific about the only two exceptions.
Smart AI & ads, kept separate
When you turn on Smart AI, only the sentence you type is sent to the AI provider to parse it — nothing else. If the app shows ads, Google AdMob handles them under your consent choice. Both are opt-in and kept apart from your reminder data.

Does RemindVault need an account?
No. RemindVault V1 has no account, no login and no cloud sync. The core app runs entirely on your device and works offline.
Where are my reminders stored?
In an on-device SQLite database on your phone. Reminder content is not uploaded to RemindVault or any cloud service, and is never sent to analytics or sold.
Can I add a reminder by voice?
Yes. Activate the assistant with the wake word “AI” or the mic button and speak your reminder in plain language. Your speech is transcribed and the AI extracts the text, date and time and any tags into a draft you confirm. You can also just type a short phrase — both work the same way.
Is RemindVault an AI chatbot?
No. AI is only an input layer. It converts your spoken or typed sentence into a structured draft; deterministic application code then validates every date, applies the recurrence rule and schedules the notification. You confirm on a review screen before anything is saved.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Because there is no cloud copy, you keep the backup. RemindVault exports your entire vault to a JSON or CSV file that you control, and you can import it on a new device.
What kinds of reminders can I create?
Eight types: payment, subscription, medicine, appointment, warranty, expiration, maintenance and custom. Each can be one-time or recurring.
How reliable are the notifications?
RemindVault keeps a rolling window of upcoming alerts scheduled and rebuilds it every time you open the app, on device reboot and on a timezone change. The design target is delivery within 60 seconds of the scheduled time. Aggressive battery optimisation on some Android phones can still interfere, and the app helps you detect and fix that.
Does RemindVault work offline?
Yes. Everything except the Smart AI Quick Add feature works with no internet connection.
What does Smart AI mode send off the device?
Only the sentence you type into Quick Add, and only when Smart AI mode is turned on, is sent to the configured AI provider to be parsed. No other reminder data leaves your device. You can also run the app in manual-only mode with no network calls at all.
Which languages are supported?
English, French and Spanish at launch.
Are medicine reminders medical advice?
No. Medicine reminders are reminders only. RemindVault is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or dose management. Follow your healthcare professional’s instructions.
Is RemindVault free?
RemindVault launches free, supported by optional ads shown under your consent choice where required. An ad-free paid tier is planned for a later release.
